- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆2018-03-24, by Eren ErdoganRude Manager and Call Centre Staff, Appalling Service. It took 8 days to install a boiler! My landlady decided to change our old boiler in January 2018. She chose a brand new Vaillant and arranged these guys to install it. And then our journey begun: -They promised to fit boiler on the first day and make it up and running. -On the first day they took out kitchen cupboard and fit the boiler and then told me their electrician will come on next day. (We had to use external heaters in the middle of winter) -On the second day, electrician came and made the necessary connections. Boiler was working ok. They told me they cannot fit the kitchen cupboard as they did not arrange the carpenter. I asked when and they said 'in the weekend (4 days later)' -I called their office and tried to talk to their manager to sort out this cupboard issue. He firstly refused to talk. When I called them for the second time he told me, he arranged everything with my landlady and he did not care what I think and started to shout without listening and then hung up the phone. When I called him again an again he just refused to talk to me. -The day after boiler went silent. Called my landlady as their manager Steve refused to talk to me. My landlady arranged a visit, their technicians came and said, this was out of their responsibility and called Vaillant for help. -On the 4th day, they came with Vaillant guys and detected a loose connection in gas sensor switch. Boiler started to work ok. -On the 5th day boiler again went silent and stopped working. but as it was a Friday, they could not arrange a visit with Vaillant technicians. so They told me to wait until Monday. 3 DAYS WITHOUT HEATING IN THE WINTER! -We managed to survive in the weekend. On Monday Vaillant technician came and checked the connections and realized that the drain pipe was not connected at all. As he did not have the parts with him, he had to come on the next day to fit the pipe. So, these guys are not recommended at all!
- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆2017-07-19, by Jamie AbbottCharged me £440 for a repair that included £60 call out fee, boiler worked for additional 4 days before original fault returned and so whole boiler had to be replaced then wanted 2k for a new boiler that others did for £1850. Came round within 2hrs and removed said new parts and offered only £210 refund our of the £440 paid. We are still waiting for the refund. My wife visited them and they argued and agreed 50% of the fitting costs but still waiting for refund whatever they are now going to send. Very rude, defensive and not customer friendly, what a local business I would expect more, we could have used a national company but chose local and this is what you get. I would not recommend these if you want customer satisfaction, oh and by the way the boiler they tried to fix was left back firing dangerously.
